Date: 1/6/13 10:19 PM Hi,
I ran across a serger ad for a WW6000 White-Westingtonhouse Serger...I called the owner and she said she she only sewed on it a few times and the last time was about a year ago (and now sitting in her livingroom covered up...not dusty at all)...in the photo, .it looks like it is in pristine shape. She thinks it's less than 3 yrs old. She is asking $150. I can't find any info on it expect that I think it is a Sears brand. She only sewed on it to help a friend make puppets...she hated making them not because of the serger just because she hated making puppets...too small (hands, arms etc). Can anyone give some info on this? I am looking for a serger (used one myself on a RICCAR about 2 years ago and am familiar with sergers) and can't afford what I really want right now (Juki654DE) so am looking for something to get me thru my projects until I can afford my Juki... Any thoughts on this brand
I told the owner I would get back with her on this in a day or so...I really don't want to drive 1 hr one-way (live in the snowy mtns of Utah) to just tryout a serger. Thanks all! :) |
