That's better. If you don't wear skirts, add the technique to a jacket.

It reminds me of a tutorial on urban threads!

I think that The technique could be used on many types of skirts.. Even age/shape appropriate garments!

I know now why we are blessed with daughters, grandaughters and nieces- we can sew the most adorable garments that used to look so terrific on our younger bodies!

I have seen long flowy black skirts on "thicker" bodies that look lovely,
just add the design along one side at the bottom, where the eye goes instead of to the hips!

If I were thin enough I would wear it in principal. I'm not big fan of red. Life is too short especially as you get older to follow other people's opinions of what you should and shouldn't wear. If you like it and feel comfortable wearing it, wear it.
