I made a new blog page about the project.

It shows what I was *supposed* to use. lol

Love it!

I too am a bit of a rebel and very much a contrarian. It's not that I color outside the lines, it's just that I like to use different lines from everyone else...

I am also a bit of a contrarian. Like to follow the letter of the law, while doing my own thing as much as I can. (Example: In speech class our speeches were to be about "communication" (I was a science major) so I did mine on ESP and SETI (Search for Extreterrestrial Intelligence))

I love your solution - right up my alley. And I love the idea of using all that selvage.

How did the group take it? Did anyone own up to making your ginormous bib piece? And if so, were they offended that you made your own?

That is fantastic and functional instead of just being a nametag. If I was in the club, I would be all over you to learn how you made this.

Bless their hearts last night... bibs abounded everywhere!

(I just ***can't*** bring myself to have that big thing hanging on me!)

So I got a better look at everyone else's last night. One thing I discovered is there have been numerous *eras* of different embroidery - (maybe by different good-hearted volunteers?)

Some weren't so bad - they weren't so big.

I got some compliments on it last night... and I was legitimate enough to be able to enter the evening's drawing. That says a lot! heh heh (you have to have your name tag on to enter for the goodies - not a bad idea)

I'm glad I made it. It's fun and comfortable to wear. The only thing it lacks is room for lots of pins... so I'll just make banners/ribbons of sorts to hang off of it when I get to that point. :)
