Date: 1/8/13 2:35 PM Got some money for christmas and want to purchase an embroidery machine. So excited but very confused too! I like the Ellure Plus but my closest dealer is quoting $3400? Does this seem high? Don't have that much to spend but want a good machine! Thanks for any advice! :) |

Date: 1/8/13 2:54 PM Whoa, yeah, that seems really high! I bought mine a year ago brand new and paid around $1800, if I recall correctly. I financed it along with another machine, so I don't recall the exact price offhand, but I want to say $1800 ballpark. I love my Ellure Plus for embroidery. Not the biggest fan of sewing on it (nothing wrong with it, it's just not my favorite to sew on) but LOVE the embroidery. ------ Bernina 330

Date: 1/8/13 3:27 PM $1,800 seems to be the average. Ask the dealer what is included as you have seen lower prices.

Date: 1/8/13 3:32 PM That seem really high! I've had one for 4-5 years and paid 1800.00 w/extras. That was from a dealer that would not negotiate much and the only one in the area where I could get that machine.

Date: 1/9/13 1:02 AM If you called to get the price they may be quoting MSRP only. Many dealers won't provide actual selling price until you come in to the store. Dealer I used to work for wouldn't, another one I know does. There are pros and cons to both options from a dealer perspective. Go in to the dealer, ask for bottom line on the machine and what's included (i.e. perks and promos). |

Date: 1/9/13 12:16 PM Don't forget to negotiate the price. Never, ever pay asking price. If they won't deal, find a dealer who will.
