Date: 1/10/13 6:11 AM Oooh that's excellent news! I thought it might be a good sign that the recent Burda Classics was in English...
This will be a great introduction to Burda for those who hate to trace and prefer longer (and less insane), illustrated instructions! ------ www.fehrtrade.com |

Date: 1/10/13 6:51 AM I wonder if the two issues of Easy will be combined into the "Style Special" subscription that is offered here in the UK. So far all we know is that there are 8 issues per year and so far they've done Plus, Classics and that "Creative" Christmas craft issue thing under the Style Special logo. It would make a lot of sense if they were to add Easy into that mix. ------ http://sewingnovice.blogspot.co.uk/

Date: 1/10/13 4:42 PM I'm glad. I've treasured my old editions of Burda Easy for the illustrated instructions. They are actually pretty good. The patterns are also good basics. It's also a great thing that there are only 2 issues a year- less clutter. I miss the "Blouses, Skirts, and Trousers" special issues they used to offer 2X a year. Those were a great best of separates without a years worth of magazines -- Edited on 1/10/13 5:01 PM -- |

Date: 1/10/13 4:46 PM Quote: chrisquilts_2 I would like to see a preview of this prior to purchasing. There's usually a preview available on the German website - at least a couple of pattern. Perhaps more on the Russian website? Seems as if they sometimes have more complete previews available.------ Happy Sewing! |

Date: 1/10/13 10:53 PM I got the e-mail too. Does this mean Burda is gaining popularity in English-speaking countries? I had a subscription for the next 2 German issues so I asked them if I could switch to the English version and they answered the next day and said they will change it. Yay! |

Date: 1/14/13 3:46 PM I think it is important to note that they ask you to place an order because they will only import based on the number of requests.
So if you want one or the other of these special issues, you have to put your name on that list asap! ------ Fashion Maté, where I blog about what I (eventually) sew : http://fashionmate.blogspot.com
