Date: 1/11/13 1:26 PM I had to pick some basting stitches out of one of my designs today and grabbed these out of the drawer.
The picture doesn't do them justice, as they have a flat end and pointed tips on the side. The perfect tool for the job.
Here's the tweezers at a better angle.
Well, you have to go to the second page and click on the other views.

Date: 1/11/13 2:25 PM I just ordered these Tweezer Bee tweezers from Amazon as a free shipping with Amazon Prime alongside some other goodies I just bought. They look like they'll be easy to grab fast out of my pile of tools because of the shape.
I work with tweezers all day long with my work... so I'm definitely a tweezer junkie. Personally, I wouldn't want to work with flat head tweezers.
The ones I use for work are more like this ... and IMO are the best shape to fish tiny threads out of the bobbin case ...or... once in a while, indispensable to just lift a thread or two instead of using a seam ripper. ------ nightowlsally.com
On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Date: 1/11/13 3:08 PM Those Clover tweezer tips are flat on the end but they have points on the sides. They worked extremely well for me.
The only ones I have (aside from my long serger tweezers) that are better are these.
The tiny points are perfect for plucking out the stray threads from inside my machine.
Beautifully made, their products are like surgical instruments.
