Lining a robe How do I?

I would like to line it with another faux fur (swirl), and I would like the lining to be where it is in contact with skin. Do I cut both furs the same, sew them as individual pieces then put them together? Or, do I need to pin and cut the swirl faux fur on the 'back' of the pattern and sew it to the mink fur as individual pieces, then put it all together?

But your question may be a bit more involved than you think, it all depends on your pattern and if it has facings and or self facings. It's just like lining a jacket, you basically sew two separate garments and then sew them together.

(I gave up the robe when I slipped on ice outside my door; the robe didn't have enough flexibility to "save" me.) You can do either method. What I did was cut them both at the same time and then stitch them together into the one seamline, to help keep the lining in place. ------ "We don't impose our rhythm on Nature.
