Cloth doll Simplicity pattern 2462 doll wig size

Looking online, I have discovered that doll wigs have thier own sizes which do not correlate to 11" doll, 15" doll, etc. Has anyone used this pattern or can provide any advice? Thanks in advance for assitance

I am sure the best way to go would be to make the doll, then take her in for a "fitting"

Measure with a regular tape measure. Some(most) wigs nowadays are on stretch caps, and come in a size range, i.e. 9-10" and so are fairly easy to fit. ------ You can judge the true character of a man by the way he treats the people who can do nothing for him
