Love the look of this pattern/doll but am concerned about locating the correct size wig for the doll. Looking online, I have discovered that doll wigs have thier own sizes which do not correlate to 11" doll, 15" doll, etc. Has anyone used this pattern or can provide any advice?

Thanks in advance for assitance

I do not know where you live, but in Hamilton , Ontario, Canada...where I live there is a china (do it yourself) doll shoppe and they carry a wide variety of wigs. I am sure the best way to go would be to make the doll, then take her in for a "fitting"

Doll wig sizes are based on the circumference of the head just above the ears, basically where the wig sits. Measure with a regular tape measure. Some(most) wigs nowadays are on stretch caps, and come in a size range, i.e. 9-10" and so are fairly easy to fit.
