Juki f600, darning stitch?

You can find the explanation on page 41 (or something close to that) here: Janome Manual
snuzal Intermediate NEW ZEALAND Member since 7/7/07 Posts: 667	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 1/15/13 4:25 PM Thanks I'll have a look. on the Bernina 380 I used yesertday at work you stitched how long you wanted the overall darn, pressed reverse and that was the length stitched. I've tried that on my machine and doesnt do anything, so will check the Janome and see if theres something there that may give an indication That's interesting how the Janome does it, I will give it a go. Width and length of program can be adjusted (cannot be made longer than the longest stitch on machine or wider than 7mm) Once the program ends, the program creates a jump stitch down and over to the left and begins next section of darning....rotate or move fabric as needed to sew additional sections. To keep darning in a more localized area, stop sewing after first section is completed. Program is most useful when overlapped to create a strong area and a closer weave of the original fabric. Automatic Lock/Trim option can be added. Then when reverse is pushed, lock stitches are added and threads are cut. I'll grab a couple of photos Actually now I re-read, it does work! I just went and made my stitch length shorter. (about 1.2 I changed it to. 2.1 was the automatic stitch length) and now it's shorter! fantastic!
