Date: 1/15/13 9:02 PM Software works on the computer, is independent of your machine. As long as the software will work with your design format it's fine. ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

Date: 1/16/13 9:39 AM What do you mean when you say "placing embroidery" ? Do you mean you'd like to transfer a design from USB or your computer to your machine OR are you wanting to edit designs and then use them? My Ellageo Plus has some software built into the machine that does allow for some minor editing and manipulation of designs including placing them where I want them in the hoop.

ETA Do you mean the software discussed here ? The Perfect Placement Kit? Looks like it should work but it doesn't actually look like software. The product description says it's a kit and includes a CD with instructions. -- Edited on 1/16/13 2:00 PM -- |

Subject: Nancys notions Date: 1/16/13 12:00 PM She has a good deal on the Stitch and place right now. I've never used it, but a friend loaned me her manual and it looked pretty interesing. It has templates for collars and pockets you can download on your screen, and somehow you merge them with your designs. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |

Date: 1/16/13 8:24 PM Most of the time I do not know what I want to do------I am that new. Come to find out that the usb I was using was not good. And I wasn't "in the know" about how to use the edit embroidery screens. So I have learned a lot these last few days. I did some more reading about the Place and Stitch kit and I ordered it. Someone I know had the kit so I was able to see what it was all about. Thank you everyone for your help once again! |
