Date: 1/16/13 7:08 PM Oh WOW!! What a beautiful place!
I am on the direct opposite side of the country, in the southeast. That would be a L O N G time on a plane for me!
And my dog can't fly. ------ Cathryn |

Date: 1/16/13 8:52 PM I know I don't fly. I have never liked so I'm not doing it anymore especially after that awful day. The outer Banks would be nice or so I hear. ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

Date: 1/16/13 9:14 PM Oh, it is a lovely spot! Just a short walk to a park with beach access, too.
It's only a 900 mile drive for me, a drive I've made a few times (Silicon Valley to Seattle). Oh, and 900 miles back again.
But a quilt studio to play in all weekend....or week....
Let me just load the sewing machine into the car....

Date: 1/16/13 10:27 PM That is not too far from me. A ferry ride, border crossing, a drive and another ferry ride. A day give or take both ways.
The dog and cats can stay home with DH and the kids.
I could bring my machine, but just saw that machines may be supplied for some classes. ------ Proud parent of a Dwight International School Honour Roll Student |
