Date: 1/20/13 4:30 PM I've seen the pattern reviewed here and thought I had it in my wish list, not! The back is very similar to McCall's 5523, view B in the back. I've searched the reviews by topic and reviewer possibility, but still can't find anything. Help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Date: 1/20/13 6:50 PM I don't know offhand but I remember seeing a few vintage skirt patterns with the back pleated - they are so pretty! You might want to try ebay or etsy. |

Date: 1/21/13 7:43 AM I remember an article in Threads more than ten years ago on creating a pleated back hem for a skirt. see if you can find it in their archives.

Date: 1/21/13 10:24 AM Any chance it was McCall's 3482? It's a vintage '50s pattern that was reviewed once here. I've had my eye on this pattern for a while myself, and have noticed that it pops up pretty often on Etsy. |

Date: 1/21/13 1:06 PM Mendospot and sugarduck - close, but not quite it. mmcp, that's pretty close. Thanks to all for for your help. The skirt that I'm thinking of was just reviewed within the last few months, I think I was SO sure I saved it I'll keep looking - I'm sure I'll come across it sooner or later. |
