Hi all, I just found this board....love it! I'm pretty much a beginner sewer (seamstress?) and, once I got a great, easy machine to use, have been really enjoying learning to sew. I've found a great t-shirt pattern that I've finally got down (I think...lol). I have yet to write a review for it (but I'll start doing that also). I've been using the Perfect T-Shirt Pattern by Pamela's Patterns...I've made three shirts now...two of which are actually wearable! (the other I made out of polyester, which I HATE to wear....not sure what I was thinking!). Pamela also has a DVD you can buy, which really helped a newbie like me with getting the v-neck to look right.

It's not too late to do your review. Have you done a search for plus size patterns yet? There are lots of patterns that would work for a beginner. If you need help with anything like fit alterations, jump on here and ask. That's what we are here for. Welcome to Patternreview!

I, too, love #104 The Perfect T-shirt from Pamela's Patterns. I took a class with Pamela Leggett back in April of 2011 when the ASG Chapter I belong to hosted her for two days. I've made five scoop neck, short sleeved, darted T's so far and I'm working on my sixth one. I just love how comfortable the fit is. I have a few of her other patterns and need to find a new TNT!

I too really like her patterns. She has all sorts of fitting instructions and check utube for her videos. Best wishes for more successes!
