My Bernina 550 is poorly It will only sew stitches of 4mm and won't reverse

Yesterday I noticed that the stitch was longer than expected - on the default which should be 2.4mm it was about 4. I could shorten it although it still did not match the display length. Today it got worse and also refused to reverse. Date: 1/25/13 8:08 PM I think my Activa230 starteddoing that just before the screen went dark. I had to have the L-print board replaced. You are probably still covered by waranty. Mine was $150.
