Date: 1/26/13 0:13 AM That is incredibly gross I am hoping they were dead by the time they got to you....live ones are worse!!!
Unfortunately, they are a fact of life down here. They call the big ones palmetto bugs and those nasty buggers can fly! I used to freak out every time I saw one, now I just squish it and move on...the price you pay for sunshine and warm weather down here during wintertime up north.. But, I would think that someone would check that out before mailing out a box...geez..... |

Date: 1/26/13 0:18 AM Do they get in the house ? I would not be able to live with them in the house. We moved from one of the rentals, just because I sow a water bug. They are big and ugly and when I see them, my body gets numb and I even trow up sometimes it would be big shock to me to find that monster in the box ------ I'm sorry for my poor grammar. Date: 1/26/13 0:29 AM On occasion you will see one in the house. We spray for bugs so it's usually not a problem....but after living down here over 20 years you realize they are part of the territory. Like suntan lotion and sand....NOT
I used to really freak out, too. The first one I ever saw I had to kill because hubby was out of town and kids were screaming.. used to give me a heart attack, but now, its like....oh...a cockroach...and I kill it.
But I do feel your pain. I REALLY hate spiders, and they grow those big down here, too. |

Date: 1/26/13 0:43 AM OMG!!!! That's awful!!!!!!!!!!!!
You wouldn't think they would survive the trip. I am thinking whoever shipped the parts may have an infestation problem.... I have shipped many things out of Florida without that kind of problem. |
