I finally finished it and it is up on the Review Gallery. It took a long time to do this. I started it last Feb for a class project and finished today. I had it all done but the binding. I wanted to learn to do the binding on a smaller quilt before tackling this much larger one. A wise decision. I did the binding by hand. I can see I will want to change that in my future and by the binder and the proper feet for it. ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

Date: 1/28/13 8:00 AM It is gorgeous!! I understand about the binding; I do no hand sewing Because if God had intended for me to sew by hand he would not have given me the opportunity to buy so many sewing machines!
I sew my binding onto the back and turn to the front. Then I use my SID foot/Edge Joining Foot and run it along the folded edge, move my needle to right to 1 or 1.5 and sew it down; comes out great.

Top pieced = Done
Sandwiched = Done
Quilted = Done
Border on = Done
hahaha you are Done, Done, Done!!!
Good luck on the binding! I despise hand sewing of any kind, so me and my sewing machine are best buds
What color are you thinking for the border? A solid to setting down the beautiful flowers? or ??
:-Debbie ------ I have great enthusium for sewing, but lack talent to be great.
