I've been searching for a vintage machine with IDT, that has no plastic gears and is reliable, plastic housing is fine but not for the internals. I want to use it for classes, so something portable. I don't have difficulty lifting heavy machines so weight is less of an issue.

I think the only vintage machine with IDT will be a Pfaff since they owned the exclusive patent on it until recently.
