Date: 1/30/13 5:39 AM Hi, I'm frustrated as I have had this problem before (fixed it) and can't remember what to do.
I'm sewing a dress from Hotpatterns and have increased the short sleeve, upper arm width. The sleeve kicks out at the hem. Can anyone tell me what that alteration is?
I'm half tempted to heighten the sleeve cap but not sure.
Thanks

Date: 1/30/13 9:24 AM It could be that the sleeve cap is too short - that would cause the sleeve hem to kick out to the side. |

Date: 1/30/13 4:52 PM ok, so will I add about 1/2" to the top of the cap?
