Short sleeve kicking out at the hem

I'm sewing a dress from Hotpatterns and have increased the short sleeve, upper arm width. The sleeve kicks out at the hem. Can anyone tell me what that alteration is? Date: 1/30/13 9:46 PM If you're doing a muslin remove the stitches on the sleeve cap between the top notches and let it drop. It will "tell" you how much to add by how much it drops and the hem will hang straight. Sometimes it really doen't take much. Debbie
