Date: 1/30/13 8:53 AM My serger is skipping stitches especially at the beginning of seams but also occasionally in midseam. Also it doesn't consistently form a complete stitch if I sew off from the end of a seam. Instead I just end up with four threads, no sitiches. It was serviced about six months ago (2 hour trip one way) and unfortunately I didn't use it much after that. Something might have happened during servicing. The problems didn't exist before it was serviced.
Any suggestions for what's going on? Is it something I can fix on my own? As far as I can tell I haven't changed anything I'm doing with it. |

Date: 1/30/13 6:09 PM Thank you all. I'll try changing the needles although I don't know that it will help with the threads not forming a stitch except when on fabric. |

Date: 1/30/13 6:26 PM I did not think it would work either, but it did. I hope it solves your problem. |

Date: 1/31/13 0:18 AM Try re-threading, and ensure the stitch selector dial is on the correct setting. Make sure when threading that the threads are properly in the tension slots and your thread antenna is fully extended. ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life!
