I looked around online and I decided to go with somehting local so I could actually see and feel the lace. I was very tempted by some of the things at Mood Fabrics online store. You will have to search, but their prices seemed more reasonable than anyone elses.

Date: 2/1/13 9:19 PM If Mood is not your answer, I wonder if you called Britex in San Francisco and asked them. You can fax the image from the Burda pattern magazine if they do not have access to it and ask what they have close to that lace fabric. ------

Date: 2/1/13 9:46 PM Thanks Zazzie! That is beautiful lace but I am afraid 85E is a little out of my budget. And the thing is my lifestyle is such that this dress will not get worn much. I just fell in love with the simplicity of it so I want to make it. I am ok with any chunky lace also. I've sent emails to EOS and Elliot Berman. I'll go check Mood now. In the meantime, I guess I should make a muslin. ------
