Identifying right/wrong side of fleece fabric How do I identify the right side of a performance fleece fabric.

It is a Malden Mills "performance fleece"; I know one side repels water and the other side absorbs. But my usual test of spraying a bit of water on the fabrics isn't that helpful. On both sides of the fabric the water seems to "bead up". Does anyone have a better method of figuring out which is the right side, which is crucial to know before I cut! Any help is appreciated. And of course I wanted this garment to be finished yesterday!!

I don't know if this is true with performance fleece though.

That was my inclination, but I wasn't sure. the other thing about these pieces is one side looks like the usual "fleecy" look and the other has a flat perforated appearance. Argh! I will go with the "curl to the wrong side on the crossgrain" approach. Mary T
