GO RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You wouldn't believe how excited Baltimore is about this. Everywhere you go people are wearing purple. Even if you aren't a big football you gotta get caught up in all the excitement.

Sorry Quiltingwolf but I have to disagree.....
GO NINERS!

I am contractually obligated by my time at UNR (University of Nevada Reno) to root for Colin Kaepernick. He was the star QB when I worked there.

Oh and BTW all TV announcers - it is pronounced "nevADa" not "nevAHda." Only people who go to roDAYohs pronounce it nevAHda LOLOLOL

I'm rooting for B-more. SF can't have a world series and superbowl in the same season - especially since they beat my Tigers.

How is that still a thing?

I am naturally on the side of the Ravens due to lingering bad feelings about the 49ers defeating the Green Bay Packers.

If San Francisco wins I will be beside myself.

I will be there and rooting for the 49ers, because the Ravens beat out the Seahawks...oh well, next year is coming.....anyhoooo, it's all pretty much for fun for me, no matter who wins, as my primo New Year's resolution is WATCH MORE SPORTS. And for me that would be football and baseball. I get a lot of fun out of watching, and it gives me knitting time! And snacks, we need more snacks....

Not being sports-minded, I used to rely on the length of the players' pants to let me know what the current sports season was. But since basketball shorts have grown ever longer, and baseball players often seem to wear something like leisure pants these days, I can no longer make the distinction.

However, I will eat hot wings whenever they are offered.

Live in Fremont, CA, so go NINERS!

I actually had the pleasure of meeting Joe Montana in the eighties, when I worked at Macy's SF and he came to a promotion. What a gentleman!

I've read a bit since about Colin Kaepernick - not Montana, but definitely has his own point of view. Reminds me a lot of my (tattooed) nephew. I sure hope he does well in the game.

Don't usually watch sports, but this one I will.

Suo ergo maledicto

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs
