Date: 2/2/13 8:59 PM I am redoing my sewing room. I have 2 sergers, 1 sewing embroidery machine, 1 felting machine, 2 sewing machines that I cannot use easily. I have looked at cabinets, etc. I do not want to face the wall when I sew. Any ideas would be great. Thanks |

Date: 2/3/13 9:35 AM Giro,
I know exactly how you feel. My room is pretty small, and I have three seperate windows that are only 21 inches off the floor, I want to put the machines that I use most in front so I can see outside and at the same but that would block the windows.
I think I am going to put the machines in a center table and give them both 25x 58 inches and face eachother. The reason for this size is so they form a rectangle and also can be seperated and put agianst the wall forming an L where one would look out one window if I decide I like that configuration better or want to switch it at some point.
What Im thinking for you is have you thought of making a center work table where you can put the machines up around a large island.
and position them so you can see around the room? If you are not sinking your machines into wells that should be easy to accomplish.
