Date: 2/3/13 0:04 AM Hi there!
hoping someone out there could look at the pictures and tell me if the problem is the SwayBack adjustment or the Full Derriere. This is Simplicity 6160 View D, pajama bottoms. Seems tight across the butt when I hold up the center line. There are no darts so I'm thinking the Swayback is the way to go--thoughts? or maybe this is the Full Tummy?I know they are just pjs but I want them to fit:)
Thanks!

Date: 2/3/13 8:53 AM Let out the back inseam until the cb top reaches your waist. You may need to add tissue. You can see that the way the tissue is "buckling" and cupping under your butt that you need more room through there.
Page 89 of your book, PFRP, shows this very same problem.

Date: 2/3/13 9:05 AM First I would check your crotch depth.
That is the measurement from your waist to the crotch. You measure this by sitting in a chair and holding a ruler next to your side and measure from your waist to the chair. That is the crotch depth.
Make that adjustment first.
Then Measure the crotch length.
First measure the front from your waist through your legs to the center crotch.
That is the length for the front add 1.5 for seam allowance.
Measure for crotch back length the same way as the front but from the back. Add 1.5 for seam allowance.
Adjust the crotch depth first before adjusting the crotch length.
It looks like you need both adjustments. ------ Rebecca Pitts
