Date: 2/3/13 12:21 PM I am traveling mid February to Daytona Beach for a vacation. I was wondering if anyone has a fabric or sewing shop that I MUST go to!
I thank you in advance... my husband does not!

Date: 2/4/13 8:18 AM There's one in Maitland, not sure how far from Daytona, but we were heading to Daytona and drove by it (we were on our way from Ft. Myers). It's right off a freeway and has been in the same place for years. Can't recall the name, but if you google it, you'll find it. Good luck! |

I tried to respond to your PM but you have PM turned off.
Sorry to hijack this post, but I am hoping you are following your own threads.

Date: 2/4/13 8:45 PM It depends what you are looking for. There is a medium-sized JA's diagonally across from the track. It has more bathrooms than the large one in Sanford (well, DH says I know where all the restrooms are, or how to find one!), about a half hour south of here.
PM me for a mini-get-together, if you're interested, or hunt me down via my blog. -- Edited on 2/4/13 8:46 PM -- ------ from Daytona Beach, FL

Date: 2/5/13 6:42 AM The store in Maitland (45 -60 minutes from Daytona, depending on who's driving) is The Sewing Studio. I am SO grateful to have this excellent indie store close to me. ------ “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.” -Robert Heinlein and Ann's father. Where are we going, and what am I doing in this handbasket?
