Date: 2/4/13 1:47 PM I'm wanting to sew a tie from a one directional fabric and don't want the design to go diagonally. Is it possible to cut on the cross grain or will the tie just not work? |

Date: 2/4/13 8:37 PM I've made ties on the straight grain and turned them successfully, but if you're talking about neckties, then they would have to be cut on the bias. You didn't specify what type tie you were asking about. ------ I have not yet begun to procrastinate |
