Lots of people, me included, have reviewed this pattern and several have mentioned using a different sleeve. I would like a close fitting 3/4 sleeve this time and am making View C. Have you just narrowed and shortened the existing sleeve or did you franken-pattern it with another sleeve entirely?

Looks like it was a full 5 years ago that I made this, so it is not exactly clear in my mind how I went about it then but I know I don't want the bell sleeve as it just gets in the way too much.

PS - kudos to those who made this top into a dress! Love it!

I made a narrow sleeve on my versions. I used the existing sleeve head/armscye and traced a Jalie sleeve from the armscye down to the hem.

This is one of my all-time favorite patterns. It seems to look good on everyone!

Thanks Barb - on my muslin I just knocked off the wing-y bits while tracing and it made a loose narrow sleeve. I may try your method as well.

I've been thinking about a 3/4 sleeve on a tee and think I am going to do the same as the pattern but measure the sleeve length and circumference on a couple of rtw tops so I know what I am getting. Home sewn tops always seem to be overly wide where they end on me whether at wrist or below elbow . I've got a couple of 3/4 sleeve rtw tees that I like the length and bottom circumference so I'm going to put the tape measure on them so I get a sleeve that doesn't feel/look weird on me. I need to try this pattern since I stashed it when everybody was sewing it. 3/4 sleeves that aren't bell shaped sound good to me.
