Date: 2/10/13 7:58 AM though I measured myself and cut the corresponding size of the pattern this peasant blouse is about 2 to 3 inches too small from the upper chest to the hemline. What can I do? Should i insert an a strip of material about 1.5 inches into both side seams and also make the sleeves larger? Any ideas? Hopefully the picture will be available in this post. Date: 2/10/13 9:13 AM Gretchen, I couldn't bring up your picture. Are you larger than a B cup? What size pattern were you using? Remember pattern sizes are different than ready to wear. If you are larger than a B cup, you will benefit from an FBA(full bust adjustment). It will not only make things fit better in the width, but the length also. |
