Date: 2/11/13 12:14 PM Hello - I ordered some items from an online firm called Sew-Quick in the UK, paying with Paypal. (I'm in the UK, too.) They say delivery is normally 3-4 working days but I've been waiting over two weeks. I've had no confirmation of my order, other than the Paypal receipt and they're not answering phone-calls or emails.
Has anyone else used this firm? Is this just normal service for them? I'm getting a bit worried they've gone bust or something. They're in Scotland and so am I, so it's not even another country... Am I just being impatient?
Anyone else experiences or views?

Date: 2/13/13 3:52 AM I ordered from them some time ago, and waited ages for my stuff. I finally emailed her, and she told me her sister had been very ill, which was why she hadn't been able to tend to her business.
Try emailing her, and see what she says. ------

Date: 2/28/13 1:04 PM Thank you - I wondered if it was something like that. I did make several attempts to contact them via email and phone messages but never received any answer. Often, when I tried to leave a phone message, there was just a recording saying the mailbox was full. In the end I got a refund via Paypal.
It's a shame about the family illness - but I would have thought someone could put a message on the website saying they can't take orders at present. |

Date: 6/6/13 2:32 PM I wish I'd read your post last week! I placed an order last week and payment was taken immediately but nothing has arrived and no response to emails or phone calls. They should not be taking payments if they are not trading. I do wish them well if they have problems but it all seems strange that it has gone on so long. |

Right after I contacted Paypal because I freaked out over the legitimacy of the company, my package arrived. It was only a couple of weeks but I had never experienced a site that had did not have communication with the buyer. I recall being told that they did send me an email but that they never received mine. In any case, I was extremely happy with my purchase. They were discontinued items and they were the last place on earth that had them.  It sounds like communication has improved but they are a legitimate company. ------
