Date: 2/13/13 6:03 AM My Mum is knitting a jumper (sweater I think you might call it ) and she won't have enough to finish it. Would anyone have any of the following wool that they would like to de-stash ? We're in Australia.
Bendigo Woollen Mills RONDO 8 ply. Colour is Tiger Lily (an orangey-red) shade 173,dye lot 003.
Thanks! ------ Marg

Date: 2/13/13 9:38 AM Have you heard of the website Ravelry? You might have better luck since their site is for knitters/crocheters. They have a lot of people trying to sell their stash and there's a message board so you can post the same question.

Date: 2/13/13 6:26 PM Ravelry is a great resource -put a request on the board for your yarn and search the site for people who have it in their stash. Also search Ebay. It took me 2 yrs to locate Emu Coolspun to finish a project but I was eventually successful! ------ wino |

The girls over at Sewing Down Under put me onto Ravelry as well. I put a message on one of the boards there, but I'm not very familiar with their site.
How do I search for people who have it in their stash?
Thanks.------ Marg

Date: 2/13/13 8:19 PM There is a pull down for the feature you are searching for-Rondo is in 80 stashes. Tiger Lily is in about 7, you can see who has it and see if they want to sell or trade. Unfortunately no one who has this color has it for sale or trade. Another option if you ------ wino |

Date: 2/14/13 6:06 PM Wino, thank you again for further info.I have explored Ravelry a little further and am following up.
It is a bit dangerous, glimpsing all that beautiful yarn. I knitted quite a lot many years ago and I DON'T have time to take it up again! ------ Marg
