Date: 2/13/13 11:58 AM I'm having trouble finding a wheeled tote that's wide enough to carrying my new Janome 6600. All the standard totes are only about 19" long; I need about 22". Any ideas where I can find one that won't cost me a fortune? |

Date: 2/13/13 12:34 PM I bought a Blue Fig rolling trolley for my 830LE. You might want to check them out. Tutto also makes rolling totes large enough to fit your Janome. -- Edited on 2/13/13 12:35 PM -- ------ Patricia

Date: 2/13/13 9:39 PM Hi...
I'm with you! I've been looking for a decent trolley for my machines. Both of mine are *big*.
I looked at the Blue Fig, but I've decided that I like the Tutto 24" Monster Folding Sewing Machine Trolley much better.
These Tutto cases are great. When I was at a retreat in October, I saw the cases that the other women had. By far, I think the Tuttos were nicer. And being able to fold them down to store them is a huge plus in my book.
When you're shopping for these, be sure and get the interior dimensions (as is the case in the link I provided above). My Janome Horizon and my Babylock Ellisimo Gold would both require this case instead of anything smaller. ------ nightowlsally.com
On my radar someday: Babylock Serger, and some machine for travel.
My dearest wish is to have Bernina come out with a machine that doesn't give me a reason to *not* buy it.

Date: 2/13/13 9:44 PM There is a massive biggest size Tutto available that fits the Bernina 8 series in it. They are larger than the 6600 Janome so I'd suggest you look at those. I've seen students rock up to class with their enormous machines and then by some miracle manage to lift them out of their car in the case, and then lift the machine out of the case. There is no way I can do that with my back, 20kg lift is off the menu, so I watch with amazement. They are strong, strong women!
I have the XL Tutto for standard sized machines that gives me a bit more room to pack stujff into, and it is a joy to travel with. Spins on a 5 cent piece. Just be aware the wheels do not lock, so you either tie it down for car travel, put behind a seat where it cannot roll, or lie the machine flat on its back inside the tutto.
I've gone for tethering it into the back of my SUV and its fine that way. ------ Quilting up a storm

Date: 2/14/13 8:30 AM There is a Janome tote that was made specifically for the 6600, I have one for mine that came with my machine.
Did you check with your dealer? Maybe they have one or can get one for you. I'm sure it would be way cheaper than the Tutto or Blue Fig. ------ Linda
