I now have 8 blocks done! Only two are the revers swirls, I will work on them next.
The glue is AWESOME! Holds them "like glue" while I am sewing them to the background. No gummy needles, no shifting, no problems whatsoever!
I used a water soluble pen to draw the swirls and it is making smudges on some of the lighter fabrics. I am not too happy about that and I hope it washes out!
here are some of the first ones. They will not be in this order in the quilt, they just happen to be the only revers swirls done yet!

Date: 2/13/13 8:23 PM Oh neat. I like them. I especially like the blue/orange one. The pink/green one is also good. Love the Dr. S. one.
What glue did you decide on?
Edited to add: Hey, that black with the colored dots is in MY house too. I was going to use it for the quilt for my FIL before he passed away. I have it all cut out and ready to sew. It is nice to see the same fabric in your swirls. Made me feel really good, Cat. -- Edited on 2/13/13 9:14 PM -- ------ Quilting is relaxing to me. I love to play with fabrics, patterns and colors.

What glue did you decide on? Thanks Learn! I am actually really having fun with this, 128 different fabrics to play with!
I am using Elmer's washable glue. The stuff is awesome. I got a gallon of it and a tiny little bottle with a metal precision applicator tip to put it into to use it on the quilt.. ------ Cathryn |

I was very happy I had the blue to pair it with, so far that one and Dr Seuss are my favorites! ------ Cathryn |
