Date: 2/15/13 10:18 AM Well couldn't just get the charm pack, also got a civil war reproduction charm pak and a new civil war scrappy pattern. Not bad for $23 including shipping. I couldn't see paying $5.00 for a $3 item. Had to make it worth the shipping lol. That is becoming one of my fav sites. Too bad you can't buy multiples of the daily specials -- Edited on 2/15/13 10:45 AM -- ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |

Kona solids sandcastle pack. I got an adorable charm pack at the store I took my class at, and I need some neutrals to calm them down. I may try embroidering on the charms, I am just nervous to attempt un-hooped embroidery.
Still taking baby steps with embroidery....------ Cathryn |

Date: 2/15/13 10:50 AM Cat you have to just jump in there lol. Quilting fabric and be tricky to embroider on as it rather thin compared to most stuff that is embroidered on. But if you don't use too dense a design and the right stabilizer. I used a med weight cut away. And sometimes will just fleece for the whole block. And and if design is just in the center of a fabric block (no piecing) I want and cut it down as the embroidery will drawn it up some. -- Edited on 2/15/13 10:51 AM -- ------ quiltingwolf.blogspot.com |
