Ok, so I sewed the lining to the dress (sewed the shoulder seams together and sewed lining and outer dress front arms and back arms together) and now I'm supposed to 'Turn lining to inside by pulling each back through front at shoulder seams." Oh dear. I know someone had posted a video on this subject, but I can't find it. Can someone explain how to turn the lining to the inside? thanks.

You're probably thinking of my video--you can find it here. Good luck!

Ok, I think I see what I did wrong. I sewed the lining back together and the outer dress back together. According to the directions, I don't think I was to sew those 2 dresses together. that might be why I can't bring it through. This is a floor length dress, so no wonder I'm having such a problem. So glad this is just a Muslin. Thanks, Nice girl. You're a nice girl. :))

The back seam is sewn after the dress is turned right sides out.

Whew!! i did so many things wrong with this one!!!! I sewed the shoulder seams closed so I didn't have the tunnel and I sewed the back closed. It was when I saw the word tunnel in your video, NiceGirl, that I realized, oops!! So I had to take that seam out, open the 'tunnel' and there ya go!! Arg!!! Thanks so much, everyone!! I'm taking a break now. I guess that's why it's good to do a Muslin first. :)))

So now, according to these lovely directions, I stitch the lining sides to the dress sides, then sew the sides together, put in the zipper and then sew the lining back and the dress back up and then I am done. Then I do the whole thing alllllllllll over again for the real one. I need chocolate. So glad the VDay chocolate is on sale now. :)) Thank you, gang, for all your help. :)) It's most appreciated. Would be better if you all came with Chocolate. :)))))
