Do I really need a FBA? Broad back, broad shoulders, ugh.

I constantly had too much fabric in the back of my finished garments, and I was thrilled when I found out about doing FBA. Measurement-wise, I think I need to do one: 35" high bust, 38" full bust. However, I have begun to notice that (1) doing the FBA doesn't fix the extra droopy fabric in the back (I think I need an erect back adjustment since a sway back adjustment isn't helping), (2) I generally need to do a broad shoulder adjustment, and (3) in fitted, woven tops, I need a broad back adjustment if I want to lift my arms. Basically, a FBA didn't fix my original problem and going down a size seems to have created 2 new adjustments. The only things that fit well are the arms and the neck. I realize that it is possible to have a larger chest and broader shoulders/back than the pattern company expects. However, I'm wondering if there is any benefit to doing the FBA if I have to increase the shoulder and the back. Does anyone else have this problem??

Then check to see if you still need an FBA. (They do it by tissue fitting - so you change the back, re-pin the pattern front and back together and then see if you need an FBA).
