baggy fromt wrap shorts

If you get a pouch when you sit down it's an easy fix. Slash across the pattern piece mid tummy and overlap the center front leaving alone at the side seam (so, a wedge). If the shorts are all made up you may be able to take out some height by removing the front of the waistband, cutting the center front lower, and replacing the waistband. If they are poofy below the zipper (this happended to me once in a very oddly shaped pattern) you can take up some of that fabric at the crotch point. I've added a link to photos. I couldn't link it from my phone. I haven't made them up yet. I want to get the fit right before I cut the good fabric. These shorts don't zip or anything... they wrap around and tie in the front and back. I think I now have a perfect fit. I'm just debating whether to try another muslin or jump into my real fabric. Since a I actually want to wear these as a swimsuit cover on vacation next month; I may try one more muslin just to make sure. Thanks again to you both.
