I would like to buy a buttonhole attachment for my Singer 327K but don't know what to look for.

I believe it is a low shank machine? If so, you can buy a buttonholer attachment for low shank on eBay in the $10 range.

Look HERE for examples of low shank vs slant shank buttonholers.
