StyleArc Abby cardigan-how does the neck go together?

Can someone who has made this explain it, or show a picture of the inside of the neck? The directions say to "fold the back collar stand in half and stitch the back neck stand to the back neck seam TURNING THE FACING NECK SEAM UNDER AS YOU SEW. (Huh??) This creates a clean finish. See diagram" (I see the diagram, but it doesn't help me). Several reviews of this pattern mention confusing instructions, but no one explains it. Help, please!

I'm wondering if it's asking you to fold it over and catch it in the stitching? Sometimes the SA instructions can be worded a little odd for a common technique. I've deciphered a couple patterns lately myself. LOL Maybe someone who has made this one will come along to assist you.

I understand your instructions! This is my first SA pattern and everyone's right about the minimal directions. Hope somebody can post a picture of a completed one showing the inside of the neck.

She replies really promptly and its probably also useful feedback for them - she might change the wording or add an onsite tutorial, I doubt you are the only one! Robyn of A Little Sewing has made lots of these so you could try emailing her if Style Arc don't come through for you. :-)

I knew this group would know the answer to my confusion. Now if I can just get all the pesky other sewing done (I do alterations), I can get back to MY project. I think I understand what the pattern is saying, but I may email StyleArc if I still have problems.
