PatternFile software question upgraded to a new Ultrabook with Windows 8

I upgraded to the Dell Ultrabook with Windows 8 and want to move my P-F software to it. I downloaded the software but my patterns are not appearing. I assumed since my files were backed up on their servers, it would sync. But maybe it is only a one way sync? Do I need to download a file from my other laptop and load that to the new one? I did contact P-F but am not getting an answer.

I need to learn to backup files. I did find them on the old laptop and copied them, but they are not showing on the new one. I was hoping I could sync down from the company. I did leave a message for them. Hope to hear from them soon.
