I want to put this ..... > ^,,^< on my Siamese kitty quilt that I am finally am going to sew together... yes I am it has been cut out for a year so I am going to do it. ..................now the question to sew my kitty face to show up do you think I would use double regular thread? a different color ? Or embroidery thread? ...............oh yes this is being done by hand that info would help huh? ha ha ha ...

I would use embroidery floss maybe 2 or 3 strands.

I have used felt for noses and embroidery floss for the mouth and whiskers.

I'd use buttons for either the nose or eyes (or both if you can get cool buttons) and either embroidery thread or 12wt thread for the whiskers and mouth. I like buttons. Maybe too much.
