Date: 3/8/13 5:38 PM I did manage to post during a fitting class here. I followed the really arcane, to me, instructions that seemed repetitive and woe is me if I left out a teensy step. Was ready to go with Photobucket today, but Nancy 2001's current post is that they've changed for the worse recently. Messed up a good thing. She mentions Image Shack for an image hosting website.
Any suggestions of which way to do this for the least headaches and the best results? I have an iPhone, MacBook Pro and a savvy photographer husband, plus techie friends. Posting on Facebook isn't that hard- even I can do it. Hoping I'm imagining this is hard and it's not. Thanks for pointing me to existing threads that already address this question or any updated help. ------ Sometimes she didn't always follow the recipe.

Date: 3/8/13 6:11 PM Wendy, you can always try Photobucket for now. It's free and not hard to use. Even though Photobucket's images aren't as good as they used to be, you can still see them. Here's the back of a pants muslin, Sarah Veblen is helping me with.
I haven't switched over to Image Shack yet, but I have read a couple of recommendations online, and the images I've seen are crisp and clean. I plan to test them out later this week and will let you know how it goes. Another alternative is Flickr which is quite popular on PR. ------ The essence of life is statistical improbability on a colossal scale.

Date: 3/8/13 7:31 PM Wendy, until you figure out which one you're going to use, you can upload some pics to your PR photo album directly from your computer. If you make them smaller, you can fit many on there. It's a perk of having a FoPR. ------ I have not yet begun to procrastinate |

Date: 3/8/13 7:35 PM I like Photobucket...been using it for about 8 years or so. I think it's pretty easy to use...upload, click on 'direct link', post here. The pics look good. |

Date: 3/8/13 7:40 PM Aha! Why don't I know, or probably remember these things? Maybe I'll start here. Gee thanks GI. I am still dreading reading the instructions. I've looked at them a few times and they seem clear as mud. Maybe it's a genetic predisposition? I'll go step by step and see what happens. ------ Sometimes she didn't always follow the recipe.

Date: 3/8/13 7:47 PM Thanks for your input Patty. This sounds so straightforward and doable.
I don't know what's come over me. I'm trying to book round-trip air tickets San Francisco/New Orleans for the Jazz Festival. For whatever reason, I decided I had to tackle photos today too. Could be after 16 minutes I've been on Hold too long? And now I've been disconnected. The stars do not align . . . ------ Sometimes she didn't always follow the recipe.

Date: 3/8/13 8:57 PM Patty, have you looked at Photobucket lately, because they've changed the program completely, and the photos are no longer as crisp and clean as they used to be. ------ The essence of life is statistical improbability on a colossal scale.
