This has been sitting in the closet for 3 months waiting for the binding. Last night, I finally finished it.

Congratulations on finishing your first quilt -- love the colours especially the royal blue.

I'm just getting back in to quilting and recently finished a wall hanging kit I picked up last year -- still need to post photos.

I'm not usually too much in love with sampler quilts, but I do like this one! Looks like it's designed so you get a chance to make each block more than one time.

Thanks! I am not a big fan of sampler quilts either, but it is a good project to learn the different basic block styles.

My local Babylock dealer offered it as a 6 week class which I took with my Mom.

Now I just need to go over to her house and help her with the binding on her quilt and we can both say we are done. :)

I took a 'beginner' class with my mother maybe 15 years ago; it was fun! And we both ended up with crib-size quilts for gifts.
