Date: 3/13/13 11:54 AM I actually found some I like - that surprised me. But just a couple and only one or two women's which actually remind me of patterns I already have!

This girls dress is nice. And I love that it has a doll dress to match!
and this one is a great little everyday dress with POCKETS!

This dress looks like it has potential and
this top is cute.

But like I said they remind me of some patterns I must have already stashed somewhere.
There are some cute toddler outfits but I don't need any anymore.

Date: 3/13/13 12:17 PM I saw those in an email KwikSew sent me. I like a couple of them too and they do remind me of some of the older KwikSews. Maybe that means they will sew up like the old one did and drafted like the old ones?
and Hancock's has KwikSew on sale through the 19th. I don't know if I would buy the new ones; there are still some of the old ones I want. |

Date: 3/13/13 3:37 PM The new patterns include a performance-type of yoga pant--one with a crotch gusset for a little extra freedom of movement. I was so intrigued by this development that I bought the pattern right now, even though I'm traveling and won't get near a sewing machine for several months! -- Edited on 3/13/13 3:37 PM -- |

Date: 3/13/13 6:58 PM The exercise pant is the only one that interested me at all! ------ Liz |

Date: 3/14/13 10:47 AM Can anyone tell me if the "new" KwikSew patterns are drafted the same as the old? I know you no longer get them on the good paper with different colours for the different sizes, but I can deal with that. But if they are just drafted like the Big 4 I will move on.

Date: 3/14/13 11:10 PM I almost bought the exercise/yoga pant pattern on the spot, but decided to wait. The waiting may end tomorrow. :) ------ Heather |

Date: 3/15/13 0:22 AM I am so disgusted at Kwik Sew since they were bought out. Same ol -same ol. I used to be able to see at least one KNIT pattern that I HAD to have. Now --nothing!
Too bad. I am tempted to go to Jalie patterns but there are too many sizes in one plus I just don't believe you can draft a pattern that is good for grown women AND little girls-unless it is an apron! ------ Brother ULT 2002D, Janome 6500P, Babylock Eclipse SX, Juki MO654DE, Janome Coverpro 1000CPX, Singer 15-91 |

Date: 3/15/13 1:51 PM I'm ordering the Yoga pants and the girls swimsuit. My dgd is very tall for her age, and I make all her leotards and swimsuits. She will love the new one with a skirt. The only plus of the 'new' Kwik Sew is that they have all the childrens sizes on one pattern.
It used to be 4-7 in one and 8-14 in another. ------ My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 10, and I've been sewing ever since. |
