Date: 3/14/13 1:03 PM Maybe it was a way for you to keep track of sewing websites? If it was then be prepared to find another way.

Date: 3/14/13 1:32 PM I got the same notice when I ran it this morning. I am hoping for suggestions on with which RSS reader I should replace it. |

Date: 3/14/13 5:44 PM Possibly a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway. What is the difference between Google Reader and going to your Dashboard and see who has posted recently? I've wondered about this for quite awhile. ------ I have not yet begun to procrastinate |

Date: 3/14/13 7:35 PM RSS feeds can give you heads up on lots of blogs and other services from web sites of all sorts and not just Google blogs. But I myself see no need for RSS feeds anyway - when they started I wondered and tried, but over time I think it takes me less time to just go to the sites I want to see, and those are many less than probably it would be if I were new to the internet in the last decade. There is just too much out there so you may as well just go to where you really want to be. ------ "Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible."

Date: 3/14/13 9:04 PM Google dashboard doesn't give you the option to with one click only see the posts you haven't read, so I'm going to look at feedly too.
I follow about 40 blogs (covering costumes, food, sewing, history) only half of which are on blogger, and I'm not about to have to look at each blog every day just to see if they posted. I love the RSS feeder ------ Sydney, Australia |
