Ladies, Its me again!
I'm still on the search for this skirt.
We want a long 3 tier flouce skirt.
Want the tiers to be like Simplicity 1872 dress but in a long skirt. I realize I'm making this harder than it should be. But for some reason I can not wrap my mind around it.
Skirt will be "38. with 3 tiers.

Well, you could buy that pattern and simply lengthen all of the tiers proportionally. If that makes the bottom two layers too narrow (assuming you want a fullish skirt) slash and spread those pattern pieces to add width.

It is basically a long skirt, a short skirt and about half of a medium length skirt. The medium skirt is attached to the long skirt and the long and short skirts attach at the waist.

Burda Style 7370 is a skirt with three flounces similar to the Simplicity dress you listed. The Burda pattern only goes to mid-calf, but it should be easy enough to just lengthen it a little.

There is also a step-by-step tutorial on makezine How to Sew a Ruffle Dress and Skirt that shows how to put a ruffled or flounced skirt together.

Hope this helps some

It does help.
I think I'm thinking to much.
I could do a long skirt and attach a middle layer and a top layer.
I do think a circle tier would lay better.
Still alittle confused on the method of a circle ruffle.

Oh me!!!!
