This new pattern looks interesting. HP 1153

I think I am liking it but am waiting for some reviews and hopefully some video from HP. I am horrible at translating a drawing into reality in my head.

They sent out an informative email this week. I think they are working on a video about the top. This pattern seems to have sparked a lot of interest.

I'll be following up on how this one goes. My first reaction was to wrinkle my nose and think, "Ewww!"

It's a really popular look this Spring season for a lot of designers, but I think its a look that can go really wrong really fast with the wrong choice of fabric. I think the length is tricky- particularly if you are very short and have a big stomach. In the right fabric on the right frame, I've seen some really nice versions of this (in pictures anyway). It will be interesting to see how it looks on Trudy.

I'm just glad it's not another knit T or sheath dress pattern. I do give HP credit for at least putting out something that reflects the runway. Yes I know before anybody breaks out the clubs- everybody doesn't sew to be fashionable, but many do and its good to have some more contemporary pattern options.

Agreed. I am waiting for Trudy to put out her video. I need to see her vision for this. I am 5'2" and always like to add a modern piece or 2 in my wardrobe. I am envisioning shearish fabric with a tank under
