Anyone have a copy of Vogue 2973 (the OOP Claude Montana jacket) in the largest size range or a copy of Patrones #292 Spring Special that they'd be willing to sell, loan, or trace a single pattern from?

Or, any other good basic plus size biker jacket pattern recommendations? I've seen some great Burda regular sized patterns and the KS 3764, but it's for a post-baby model on the top end of Burda's plus sizes, and I'm not fully confident in my ability to grade so dramatically.

It will serve as the basis for the perfect topper for an original dress I'm entering in a show, and I don't think I'll have time to draft one.

Thanks in advance for helping a sister out!

By "plus size" what measurements are you looking for? I'll go check my stash for you. I don't have the Vogue or Patrones you mentioned, but I'm pretty sure I have a biker jacket in there somewhere...

Petite Plus Patterns has a great biker type jacket. and they are extremely well drafted patterns for plus sizes with very good instructions.

The jacket is here:

and here is how it was modified for a leather biker jacket!

I don't know what that jacket looks like but this has a biker-eque feel and huge size range.

If you have time to rework the collar, one or a combination of one of these may have potential.

V2987
V1036
M6441

Both of the Vogue backs are intriguing.
The V1036 is less nipped at the waist and I like the sleeve detail.

Send me a PM if I can loan you anything. If any of these are interesting, I can search my stash for a different collar/front.

I have S1947 in both size ranges. It's not OOP yet, but if you want one, PM me.

You could try Burda 8117, which is OOP, but seems to be available online. (here)

I'm trying to track down Vogue 2973 as well. I found Simplicity 2056 has good lines and comes up to size 22. I think the KS one could be 'jazzed up' and look good too.

I've got the Patrones magazine. I could scan the pattern sheet for you if you'd like. Just send me a PM with you email address.
