Either Vintage Singers (yahoo group) or Treadle On could hook her up.

WeFixIt Yahoo Group and the
Vintage Singers Yahoo Group `that was already suggested. Great Files available to members in both groups, too.

I've found the info at Tools for SelfReliance to be very helpful. They have manuals and info on how to repair machines, what the parts are and such. These are the people that collect and send machines to Africa.

2010-115.5

Amazing, I just went this week to Potosi, MO and picked up my grandmothers sewing machine from my sister. This post got me started on researching it. Very little info on it. It is an Oakwood treadle, and research indicates it was made by the Illinois Sewing Machine Co, in Rockford, Illinois, around 1911. I found a picture of a later model Oakwood treadle on ebay which had sold. My sister misplaced the manual, she guesses when she called me. It has several attachments, but needs a part in the bobbin case and a belt. And it's really gummy, although my grandmother used it until 1974, when she died.
