LOL I love it!

Maybe you could pretend she is Mary Boleyn, and not Anne?

Love that pattern! Carpatina has is on their web site for $9.99

I won't pay that for a pattern for me! So I know there's NO way I'd pay it for a doll....... it is beautiful though. LOL

That is awesome!!!!!

Bonus if you read Hilary Mantle as bedtime stories. Or not.

Give her a pointy gabled head dress and she would be Catherine of Aragon.....An apron and it would be Katherine Parr......or a very high neckline for Anne of Cleves ( my fav!).

Catherine of Aragon was the only wife of Henry VIII that wasn't beheaded. So it could be a Catherine of Aragon dress.

I'm actually tempted....but I'd need some kind of excuse. Could be a slender, insubstantial excuse....

It seems dangerous to even go to the Carpatina website and look around.

Carpatina patterns

Ooooh look at all the pretties! And it looks like most of them come with two sizes included - one fits the AG dolls and the other fits the thinner Carpatina dolls... Ok now I want them all!

You know, maybe you really should buy it for her education; history and if she helps sew she could be learning a skill

Just FYI, Simplicity has a pattern for

Simplicity 2768 Doll Clothes--Renaissance Doll Clothes for 18 inch Dolls

McCalls M6670 Clothes For 18' Doll and Accessories is interesting, too, although it has nothing to do with the Renaissance. I especially like the Ancient Egyptian outfit.
